Goldring Lenco bearing plate

Heavy platter Goldring Lenco turntables serviced and well set up perform brilliantly but one of the weaknesses they do have is the interface between the top plate and bearing which can be prone to vibration.

The top plate is made out of relatively flimsy pressed steel plate which is stiffened up by this inexpensive and easy to fit addition. The standard top plate is approximately 3.5 mm thick increasing to 6.5mm thick around the bearing with the additional stainless steel plate fitted significantly improving rigidity. Dimensions: Outer diameter 58mm  Inner 24mm.
