I cannot stress enough that these speakers are absolutely as new, there is not a single mark on them, which if you have had gloss black speakers before, you will know that they are not forgiving!
They come complete with all of the accessories, manuals, port bungs – and their original boxes and packaging.
As you would expect they sound superb and create an extremely convincing soundstage and are not too placement dependent.
They are very detailed and extremely punchy in the bass division, sounding great with my preferred vinyl based system, but move up to a higher level entirely when you introduce digital formats with their increased dynamic range and their ability to reproduce the very low notes accurately that are present in most modern music is astounding.
Monitor Audio have a great heritage and they rate this speaker system as close to the pinnacle of their achievements. I have a lot of experience with MA products and I have to agree that these speakers take the quality bar substantially upwards.

As you have seen in the specifications, these speakers weigh over 30 kilos each. In fact, because of their boxes with all the packaging, they actually weigh 35kg, which means together they are approaching 70 kg. That’s a full person, right?
