More Information about Tannoy Precision 6.2 Floor Standing - £595 o.n.o

First off, sorry about the poor quality of the photos - i have an old phone and the light quality in my front room is poor. These speakers, in the walnut satin finish, look super.
Now reduced to £595 o.n.o - they cost £1800 new.
I may consider a speaker swap deal for some monitors especially if they are Proac or some vintage Celef monitor types.
The reason for sale is i simply have run out of room to have 2 systems in this space - as you can see i can hardly get to the windows ! The larger speakers next to the Tannoys are my vintage Celef PE1's.
This pair of Tannoy Precision 6.2s are good condition and perfect working order. Read the many excellente reviews. These fantastic, dynamic speakers really do create highly defined stereo image with a big soundstage. They design looks great too.
Some practical info:
- Speaker covers, speaker stand plinths, speaker spikes with carpet protection pads included. All original Tannoy. I do not have the original boxes but i can sort something out.
- I have mass-loaded the cavity, at the bottom of each speaker, with dry kiln sand as recommended by Tannoy. This can be removed if you so wished.
- I listen to a variety of music, mainly classical, but i have never been driven these speakers too hard. That said, they can be and they have plenty of low-end bass - 34Hz. No need for subwoofer i feel.
- I highly recommend bi-wiring these speakers. I can provide several choices of bi-wire cable including some Chord Rumour 4 terminated with Jantzen plugs.
- The overall condition is good. There are a few small marks, which can show you with more photos. which are hardly noticeable. Can send photos.
- The are in the dark walnut finish which looks amazing. Not the gloss version.
- I have the manual and PDF but we do not have the original boxes but i can probably sort something out.
